Mission of the Lab
The Experience Lab (XP Lab) at Cal State LA explores human-computer interaction, with a focus on immersive experiences in virtual reality and augmented reality. We research and develop techniques and technologies to improve the human experience of computing. We integrate the design and engineering needed to build human-centered computing experiences with the scientific theories and research methods that guide the development of hypotheses, experiments, and knowledge.
